I may be in a red state, but in a very blue county, 2 to 1. We have had one Republican commissioner in a century. Our neighboring county has never ever had a Republican commissioner.
I have never been to hell so I can't make a direct comparison but have changed my ways just in case hell is anywhere near as bad.
Been there, seen what it was like, that is a terrific description of what it really is like.
