Artificial life likely in 3 to 10 years

As you can tell from many of my posts...I love science and technology...

But this article is scary for so many reasons...

I simply don't trust all scientists to do things for the common good...someone will do something that is either stupic, insane, motivated by greed, because they are forced to or a combination of the above, that will really screw things up for the rest of us...

I just posted your comments on Musings. I agree with you that I don't trust all scientists to always do the ethical and moral thing in these types of situations. For that reason, it is also scary to me that they are that close.
