Guard uses Taser on man holding newborn

I couldn't watch the video attached to the article...maybe I should have before I comment...but that is just nuts.

The father obviously lost his cool...but he was contained in the hospital. With no way to exit, there must have been a better way to handle this.

That being said, the guard is an off duty police officer that should have had training for this type of situation that a private security guard may not have...

What a horrible situation for the baby...

I just read the article in our local newspaper. I totally agree with you. The man could not even get on the elevator because of the security system the hospital had in place. There certainly had to be a better way than to use a taser on someone holding a defenseless baby. This Security Guard needs to be fired.
