Orchids date to time of the dinos

they have been around for an estimated 84-76MM years...I guess that means they made it through the Dino extinction and comet impact 65MM years ago.

Orchids are so unique. I once had an estate case where the decedent had an entire greenhouse full of orchids. By the time we found the orchids, of course they were all pretty much dead. When it came time to have the Estate auction, the auctioneer said he was going to auction off the dead orchids. He did, and to my amazement, he got five dollars per dead orchid.
