Five must-do's when a loved one is ill

after spending the weekend in the ER for my daughter (who is fine now...) I found this article and think it's a great read...

Another thing that I wold like to add is #6...Take care of yourself...you can't help your loved one if you get sick yourself.

Pete, what an excellent, informative blog. Three years ago we went through the devastation of losing an older brother, and the doctors weren't able to make the diagnosis until just hours before he died. He was one thousand miles from us, and when his wife decided that we needed to come up, he only had a few weeks left. My sister-in-law said the doctors didn't give her information. I asked her permission to intervene on their behalf, and once she gave it, I got the answers that our family needed. I wish we had had the list that you just provided. I have printed it out and will keep it for future needs. Thanks for a great blog.

What makes people act the way they do?

With all the recalls associated with Chinese products, do you look at the label now to see where a product is made?

NEW POLL: What percentage of baseball players were taking steriods, HGH or other enhancing drugs (like amphetamines) before the rules changes instituted by MLB?

Which would you prefer?

You're at the Final table of the WSOP. You get dealt 2 Aces. What do you do?
