Police: Man sets off his own booby trap

in an attempt to stop burglars from breaking into his house unobstructed...this dope blew up his own booby trap.

What a jerk...soon...anyone that wants to will be able to break into his house because he won't be home...He'll be in JAIL!!!

that being said, I think the local police need to do some introspection...if someone feels that they have no choice but to set booby traps in their yard to stop thieves...maybe the police aren't doing as well as they should at the "Protect and Serve" piece of their job description!
