This really is a war we can't afford to lose. What I can't figure out is why the American people don't understand that. I still believe that the Administration should have called on the American people to make meaningful sacrifices after 9-11, instead of insisting that life go on as before. It didn't take long for the most impatient people on earth to lose patience. This is a battle for the survival of our way of life, and we have to find a way and a will to win.
